Two parts. The first governs use of this website. The second sets out the standard terms we work under, which a signed engagement letter may vary.

Part one: this website

Informational only

Everything here describes services in general terms. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance and nothing forms a contract. A binding arrangement comes into existence only through a signed engagement letter or an email exchange in which scope, fee, and timeline are expressly agreed.

The chart on the home page uses illustrative figures and is labelled as such. It shows the report format. It is not a client result and not a prediction of yours.

Accuracy and availability

We keep this site accurate but do not warrant that it is free of error or always available. We may change or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Intellectual property

Text, layout, code, and marks belong to Ausnov unless stated otherwise. You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and link to any page. You may not republish substantial parts or reproduce the design without written permission.

Part two: engagement terms

Scope

Each engagement is defined by a written proposal setting out the prompt set size, engines covered, reporting cadence, timeline, and fee. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts.

Nature of the measurement

We observe the outputs of third-party answer engines at a point in time. Those systems change without notice, personalise responses, and return different answers to identical prompts. Our reports describe what we observed under the stated conditions. They are evidence, not a certified record, and they should not be presented as one.

Every figure is labelled measured, partial, or modelled. Referred-session figures are always a floor rather than a total, because referrer data is frequently stripped before it reaches your analytics.

No guarantee of outcome

We do not guarantee that your citation share will rise, that any change you make will move it, or that a movement we report was caused by a specific action. Establishing causation requires a controlled change, and we will say plainly when a result does not support a causal claim.

We do not guarantee continuity of coverage. If an engine changes its terms, blocks automated querying, or shuts down, that engine leaves the report and we adjust the fee accordingly.

How we query

We query publicly available interfaces at a conservative rate and in a manner intended to comply with the relevant provider terms. We do not circumvent access controls, do not use credentials belonging to you, and do not resell raw provider output as a data feed.

Client responsibilities

You approve the prompt set before it runs. You are responsible for the accuracy of the competitor list and category description you supply, since both shape what gets measured.

Where you give us read access to your analytics, you confirm you are entitled to do so.

Use of reports

Reports are for your internal use. You may quote figures externally provided you state that Ausnov produced them, state the measurement period, and do not present a modelled figure as a measured one. We may ask you to correct a public use that misstates the method.

Ownership and confidentiality

On final payment, the reports and the prompt set built for you are yours. Our collection method, classifier, and tooling remain ours. We will not name you as a client or publish your figures without written consent.

Each side keeps the other’s non-public information confidential and uses it only for the engagement. This survives by three years, and does not apply to information that is public through no fault of the receiving party, was already lawfully held, or must be disclosed by law.

Fees and cancellation

Fees are stated in the proposal. Baseline readings are invoiced on delivery. Ongoing reporting is invoiced monthly in advance and may be cancelled with thirty days written notice. Invoices are payable within fourteen days.

Liability

Our total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees paid for it in the preceding three months. We are not liable for lost profit, revenue, opportunity, or for decisions taken in reliance on a report. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction. A signed engagement letter naming a different governing law prevails.

Precedence

Where a signed engagement letter conflicts with this page, the engagement letter wins.
